These Terms of Business set out the basis on which Caledonia Risk provides investigative and intelligence services to its clients. By engaging our services, clients agree to these terms.
Caledonia Risk provides bespoke investigative and intelligence services, including covert surveillance, threat assessments, and open-source intelligence operations. All services are provided in accordance with the engagement confirmation and agreed scope of work.
No work will commence until an engagement has been confirmed in writing, detailing the scope, operational dates, and agreed fees. Any changes to the scope of work must be agreed in writing.
Fees for services are set out in the engagement confirmation. Payment terms are immediate upon receipt of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late or non-payment may result in suspension of services.
Engagements cancelled in accordance with our Cancellation Policy are subject to the terms set out therein. Clients are responsible for ensuring timely notice is provided to avoid charges for scheduled operational resources.
Clients must provide accurate and complete information relevant to the engagement. Failure to do so may affect the quality of intelligence provided and does not absolve the client from fees for work undertaken.
All investigations and intelligence operations are conducted with strict confidentiality. Information obtained is shared only with authorised client personnel and is treated in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
Caledonia Risk provides intelligence and investigative services to professional standards. While we take all reasonable steps to ensure accuracy and reliability, clients acknowledge that results may be affected by circumstances beyond our control. Liability is limited for the specific engagement.
These Terms of Business and all engagements with Caledonia Risk are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland.
