This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms that apply when an engagement or scheduled service with Caledonia Risk is cancelled.
Clients may cancel a scheduled engagement without charge provided written notice is received at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the agreed commencement time.
Where cancellation is received between twenty-four (24) and seventy-two (72) hours before the scheduled commencement of the engagement, Caledonia Risk reserves the right to charge fifty percent (50%) of the agreed daily operational rate.
Where cancellation is received within twenty-four (24) hours of the scheduled commencement time, the full agreed daily operational rate will be payable.
Investigative personnel and operational resources are scheduled in advance for each engagement. Once an assignment is confirmed, specialist team members and operational planning are allocated to the scheduled dates. Late cancellations prevent these resources from being reassigned and therefore the above cancellation terms apply.
Where possible, Caledonia Risk will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests to amend or reschedule an engagement, subject to operational availability.
